~a PiNK aND SHaBBY CHiC CHRiSTMaS~

This is the ONE room I can be all girl all of the time!
I don't even think my husband walks through this room!LOL It's my space to be pink and shabby chic!
Starting with a pink Christmas tree!A pink Marie Antoinette ornie made from silk flower petals.
An angel watching over my creation station.

A little "Pretty Princess" snowgal.

An icy wreath that still manages to grow yellow roses inside! Weird huh?

As I add to my pink and yellow room I'll show ya what's new.
Hope everyone is having a great week.

~It's a Giveaway~

I am celebrating my etsy shop's 300th sale with a giveaway!
I soldered game tiles that spell "Glam", large pink glass beads, leopard beads, a glass mini vile filled with foil glitter, all attached on a silver loop bracelet.

O, did I mention the little Queen pic. on a tile complete with her crown!

This was a fun bracelet to make, sometimes we all need a little "Glam" in our day!

All you have to do is leave me a comment in this post, that's it! And on Sat. the Nov. 14th, I will randomly pick a winner. So come celebrate with me! (winner will be notified for address)
SO GLAD YOU ALL CAME BY! DON'T FORGET I WILL PICK A WINNER THIS SAT. THE 14TH!

~Queen~

The ghosts and goblins have gone, and now on to Thanksgiving and Christmas! (where does the time go?) I can almost smell the turkey and see the parade in NYC! I can't wait for the musical numbers in front of Macy's!
This is the first of many soldered pieces in my jewelry line. I am having a blast with the soldering iron, who new that melting metal would be so much fun!?:) So I had to start with Marie Antoinette. I hand cut the images and created my own collages on the front and back. All of my pendants are made from lead free solder and I have more shapes and sizes coming.
I think I will get started on some Christmas pendants and have a few at the Holiday Festival and on my etsy shop. This piece would make a great necklace, pocket book charm, or Christmas ornament! Stop by for a peek.
Hope you all have a super Tuesday, thank you so much to everyone that stops by!
hugs,
D

~FaiRY PRiNCeSS~

Yippie, it's Friday! I am always happy to see it arrive! WOW, it has been a long time since I have done a wood block piece. So here is "Fairy Princess"
SOLD She looks like a little Princess sitting atop her fancy block!
I love using old hymnal sheet music in my work. I guess it brings comfort.

I have been so busy getting ready for the Holiday Festival in Dec. Making soldered pendents and jewelry, hair goodies, and other fun treats! I will be adding soldered jewelry to my shop within the week so stop in for a peek! Hope this post finds you all well and happy!

~STaR SHiNe~

Good Sat. to ya! Today felt kinda like a tiara day!
Star Shine, is a tiara that I hand-cut from beautiful card stock and embellished for a Queen!
Pink is the color of the day with embossed glitter, clear rhinestones, cream puffy stars, and vintage trim. Here is a little Queen now, all ready to do homework! Why not look great doing it?!

Hope everyone is having a creative Sat. Put on your tiara and go do the dishes:)
blessings,

~FReeDoM~

On this beautiful Thursday with the birds chirping in the fall air, I felt like I needed a birdie project. So here is "Freedom". A sweet mountain blue bird (which we have tons of in the trees out front) sitting on a glass jar with her eggs still inside laying on a bed of moss. I left the moss and eggs free to float and move inside the jar and it makes a fun surprise!
I hope everyone is having a good week, we have been doing fall clean up after the big frost so no more flowers :(
Only beautiful leaves and pumpkins! :)
Have a blest day,
hugs,
Dee

~Just Lookin' Out The Window~

Well, it has been raining for days and it is finally getting to the dogs! Trudy, our boxer/lab, couldn't pull herself away from the back deck door! I took picture after picture and she refused to move from whatever she was looking at. Maybe doggies get the blues too:( She has her Fall collar on! (how sad)
She is large with a huge bark, put what a gentle cutie she is!

I have been getting for a "Holiday Festival" craft show in Dec. with new jewelry pieces, hair posies, and more. But today maybe I will just go look out the window at the rain with Trudy!

~Marie Antoinette Spool Art~

Good Sat. everybody! Yesterday felt like a chic Marie day (needed some pink cheer) so The "Queen of Chic was born! Of course I had to put her on top of cake paper and top her off with pink roses and party paper! A sweet pink rhinestone necklace finishes Marie's chicness!

Also finished an elephant "Sassy Pal", Clark will hit my new shop next week. Until then hope you all have a super week-end!
